At present the University is comprised of four Schools, serving undergraduate and postgraduate studies in more than twenty Bachelor and Master Degrees. Evaluation and Recognition

The Neapolis University in Cyprus operates under the relevant law of private universities in Cyprus. Study programs are evaluated and approved by a special committee, the Evaluation Committee of Private Universities (E.A.I.P., www.ecpu.ac.cy). This Committee has the overall supervision of the operation of the University.
In October 2007 the University was registered in the Register of Universities of the Ministry of Education following a decision of the Cabinet. In June 2010 the University took the initial license of operation. The decision was made after a positive recommendation of E.A.I.P. On the basis of the successful response of the provisions of the law, the final authorization will be granted to the University.
All programs of the University are fully recognized by the Republic of Cyprus and all EU countries.
Please note that the programs of Architecture and Real Estate are recognized by the Professional and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK). The postgraduate programme of the Real Estate has secured, in addition, a certification by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The Faculty

The learning procedure at Neapolis University in Cyprus is based on the quality of the academic staff (Faculty) as well as on the use of modern learning technology, which creates an environment that enhances efficiency in the educational procedure. The University has created an academic environment that values and promotes free, active and original intellectual inquiry. Neapolis University Faculty has a long teaching and research activity in their area of interest and motivates students to develop skills of research and the ability to learn autonomously towards achieving academic excellence.

Facilities

The University has commenced operations in its newly renovated temporary facilities adjacent to the Neapolis site on September 2010 until its new facilities on site are completed. The Neapolis University will be the first true Campus University on the Island and will accommodate up to 3.000 students at full development.
It aspires to attract a wide range of students coming from Cyprus, Greece, other European countries, Middle East and Asia. Its vision is that of a forward looking research and high quality teaching institution at both local and global level.
